most of all I love your vulnerability.

I received napkins with this cartoon on them from a lovely woman I met last year at the Massachusetts Conference for Women. The New Yorker cartoon cracked me up so I did a search to see if there were any other funny takes on vulnerability. This one made me laugh too!

Laughter is such an important part of soulwork. It forces us to breathe.

Wow, thank you for making me laugh. Yes, laughter helps us reconnect with our joy and inner child again, relieves stress and lights up our happy circuit in the brain.

Here´s a funny quote:
"Sex is like bridge:if you don´t have a good partner, you better have a good hand." - Charles Pierce

Namaste :-)

Yes to laughter! Not to mention the lightness of spirit as a smile opens the face...

I have read it takes more facial muscles to frown than to smile! Let's be encouraged every day to find a reason to laugh and give our face a lift!!!!!! May it become contagious to those around us.....but consequentially if it does not,,,,,may we all stay focused in our pursuit to wholeness of which I believe will be attained in fuller measure through healthy laughter!!!! Thanks again Brene...I only wish I could meet you and give you a big hug!!!! mb

I love to laugh! It is one of the things I need ALL the time! It is my "medicine" so many days when all seems gloomy!

Laughter is little puffs of pain

Both very funny!

That's our fear, of course, that if we're TOO vulnerable we'll get eaten up, one way or another.

But then if we don't open up, we consume ourselves from the inside. I'd rather risk getting 'et' from the outside, than do it for sure from the inside.

I really love this. Had to share it on my Facebook page. Trying to teach Gen Y women that vulnerability is powerful. :-] https://www.facebook.com/ProjectEnough

Sometimes I'm the cat, sometimes I'm the mouse. Often I forget when I am one, I will be the other. Life's funny that way. :) thx.

I feel vulnerable all the time. Love your work and so thankful that my sister loved me enough to encourage me to explore the subject. If I survive seeing all the dark corners of my heart, I will be a richer soul and the joy will come from my very grateful heart. Thank you for being courageous.

Thanks for sharing the cartoons, laughter is so importance. I've had some days where I'm so upset and then there will be something that makes me laugh and i feel like I'm in a whole new set of mind. I fell so much better afterwards. its beautiful really.

Love the information above on Mati. I hope to read her book one day! Great picture of you holding her artwork. I'm still working through your "I Thought It was Just Me" book. I have always tried to operate from the vantage point that we don't really have a right to judge others because we never know when we might be in that same predicament, but I love how you phrased it in terms of us being one another's "otherness" (p. 146). Thank you again for all you do.
