You are so wrong:
Your 7 years did not boil down to 7 minutes, but permanent progress in what we know, and who we are as humanity. You changed the world. BRAVO!
This is an awesome way to begin a Monday, thanks for sharing.
Thanks. Showing this to my first day of school 8th grade American history classes in two weeks. Awesome. (BTW I have a friend on that team. She said she cried when she watched this, as did I).

I *love* that you shared this as part of your series. I was so excited and overjoyed to watch the Flight and EDL teams achieve something so monumental as it happened. It was indeed daring greatly. And their dedication and enthusiasm was beautiful to me.

Wiping away tears of sheer joy at this uplifting, inspirational, heartfelt vid. I am in awe and bow to the dedicated tenacity, bold imagination, gritty courage of all those involved in the *Curiosity Landing.* Out of this world! Thank you so much for sharing :0)

What a great example of the power of storytelling! I'm embarrassed to admit that I was one of the many who barely paid attention to the news before and after the Mars landing. But this short video left me with tears streaming down my face! Isn't it amazing how much more you care about something when there's a person and a story to connect you to it?

To think of the achievements of mankind when we work together, act courageously, serve the greater good of others and think about the next generation, we might accomplish and reach many other unimaginable goals. However, this can only happen when people risk vulnerability, courageously move out of comfort zones and share our ideas, hopes, dreams and creative abilities and bravely pick ourselves up again and again every time we fail. Yes, this is "Daring Greatly!" Thank you for being a catalyst to encourage us to dare greatly!

Thank you posting this. We were in Houston in the spring visiting family and took our 7 year old son to the space centre and heard about the mars landing. I'll show him this when he gets home from school today. I'm currently drying my eyes.

What a joy to watch, especially as I vision and embody the feelings I want to experience in right and purposeful work for myself in the world. We are here to create, collaborate and contribute to the greater expansion of the life experience...throughout the Universe. Woohoo!

I teach Project Management at the college level. Sometimes it can be so "structured." I often look for examples of the passion and perseverance necessary for long-term projects. Now, I have a new video to show my students! Curiosity is a triumph for one and all.

I was touched at the accomplishment of such a huge goal.... but at the same time I can't help picture in my mind all the people on our planet who don't have clean drinking water, are ravaged by curable diseases and starve to death everyday. Why is it so easy for us to turn a blind eye to them and be curious about what is on other planets? THIS is what makes me cry.....

I had to laugh the other day when I heard someone talking about Neil Armstrong walking on the moon and using the term "daring greatly" in the midst of his quote.

This morning I was in a blue funk and told my husband, "I have to find a way to get out of this." Thank God, you had blogged about the invisible bicycle helmet (Aug. 29) and posted it on Facebook. I watched that (wow) then read the previous two posts, landing here on the Curiosity video. Wow.

Thank you for being one of those leaders who help bring out and/or celebrate the potential of each one of us to have ordinary courage. This video pulled me right out and into the vulnerable open. Ready to face the day head on now! Thank you thank you thank you.
