More fun news!

1. We just found out that Part II of Super Soul Sunday will air on 3/24! They're extending the season so the two episodes that Oprah and I taped can run on consecutive Sundays.

2. If you're hosting a brunch or having friends over to watch this weekend, email us some pictures and I'll live tweet them on Sunday. I'm having some move-a-body friends over. Rather than be self-critical, I'm just going to ring a little bell whenever I'm feeling self-conscious. It will be a very loud Sunday at my house.

3. Last . . . get ready for a new website. We're putting the final touches on a new website/blog and it will launch in the next two days. I'm so excited for you to see it. I've been working with an amazing team of folks. I'll introduce you to them next week.

The change was inspired by my photography practice. Several years ago I took photography lessons for Lent (I always try to add something that feels sacred rather than take something away). This year I'm taking an Aperture class for Lent (the Mac photography software). The new site will include a lot of pictures and quotes and creativity.

There will also be some beautiful new badges and downloads coming. I really hope you like it as much as I do!

If you missed the post from earlier this week about Super Soul Sunday with Oprah, it's here. The bell ringing will make more sense when you read that.

Thank y'all for being excited with me!

Good for you!!!
Brene, how exciting for you! I can't wait to watch the episodes with Oprah! Your TED talk is held in high regard in the Woo community (I use Woo affectionately!) and I can think of no one better to lead the way in helping us live with (and through) our whole heart.

Thank you for all you've done!
Amazing news! You inspire Brene (how to get your e accent?). I was teaching coaching for Habitat for Humanity last night (I train volunteers as a volunteer to be in a group of 3-5 coaches supporting a new Habitat homeowner for 6-12 months) and I always recommend your books and love it when a participant knows you which happened last night. We were in our own little swoon fest over how amazing you are! The lady did correct me to "Dr. Brown" and I replied that I had met you in the Fall at a book signing and you'd introduced yourself as Brene so I was sticking with that. HA HA HA. We are having a smoothie breakfast gathering at my house and will send photos! Love the sounds of the new site. Blessings to you Sunday as your impact grows again...meaningful, and appreciated.

The team doing your redesign are friends and colleagues of mine. I am so happy for everyone involved you got to work with each other. Working with them has radically changed my work life (and inspired my personal life)!
Friends and family informed. DVRs set! Always good to watch you do your thing :)

So excited to see your new website! The one you have has served you really well, but it will be amazing to see what you and your team have cooked up! There will be a bunch of us watching the Oprah telecast, so we'll try and post some pics :)

Just bought the champagne for my Brene Brunch! I love the community that you and your work have created. I am currently taking your Sounds True course which I hope will help me move all the knowledge I have gained from your teachings from my head to my heart. It's easier to know "I am Enough" then it is to feel and live it. I could not be more excited/proud to witness your success! I love what another commenter said on FB "Vulnerable is the new cool!"

I love that not only were you invited to go on Oprah, but that you were so awesome they were forced to spread it out over two episodes and extend the season to fit all of your awesomeness in. Can't wait to watch!

Brene - How exciting! You and Oprah are a wonderful combination. I just had a great talk with a friend and when she described something she wanted to be more of I said "that sounds like vulnerability." Of course, you know how I knew what she was talking about (you). I sent her a link to your TED talk. She just wrote back and said she loved the TED talk. Thank you for being a great resource and role model all in one. Enjoy these beautiful moments of your work and passion resonating with the world!

My two favorite truths from Brene are: vulnerability hangovers (which I suffer from greatly after a business dinner) and the love of love (not critical) you give to your children. We still need to work on Project Life!

Hi Brene!

I am half way through Daring Greatly, and I feel that this book has already changed my life in so many ways. Let's just say that your chapter on foreboding joy? I believe it needs my picture next to it! I am thisclose to tearing it from the book and taping it to my mirror.(Not really, because I have a hard time even highlighting my books, but you get the picture!) Thank you for your work, and I cannot wait to see you on Oprah!

What a great idea for Lent! Adding something sacred is so much more positive.

This is fabulous news! I just finished your book and have been getting friends to order it. In all of my studies/healing/progression, Daring Greatly was EXACTLY what I needed at this time in my life. I was ready for it, and I devoured it. I will probably write you a longer letter someday, but I will simply say that I appreciate every minute of time you put into your research. There were probably millions of human beings waiting for this research, and I'm so grateful to you for all of your hard work! Thank you from the bottom of my soul. :D

Am surprised and excited by your alternative for Lent. (Quick, let me think, what shall I pick?!)

Brene, I am so delighted that Oprah has invited you to her Super Soul Sunday. Can't wait to see it! I knew that she would love you like we already do! You really should watch your TED talk because it is beyond awesome. You have transformed countless lives. I have purchased many copies of your book and give them out to my friends. Love everything you do!

"I always try to add something that feels sacred rather than take something away"

I love this! I'm always confused as to what to give up for Lent, and I end up not doing anything because I feel there isn't anything to take away from what I do, so this idea of ADDING something is brilliant. Thank you so much for that 'aha' moment!

And 2 more days until your chat with Oprah! I'm so excited to hear what two brilliant minds discuss :)
